Promising local full-back whose teenage United career was agonisingly cut short by a serious knee injury in 2012.
Raised through the Ballymena United Youth Academy, Ahoghill native Corey was a two time Milk Cup representative with County Antrim and also part of Melvyn Logan's Thirds' team that won the IFA Youth League Cup in 2010.
In March 2012, the 18-year-old full-back was drafted into the first team panel by Glenn Ferguson for a memorable debut as a substitute in the 4-2 win over Glentoran at the Oval. The highly rated local was quickly being earmarked to push for a first-team place ahead of the 2012/2013 having completed pre-season with Ferguson's senior squad whilst also starring for Clifford Adams' Under-19 Foyle Cup runners-up in the same summer.
Price again came off the bench in August 2012 for the season opener win against Linfield but that was sadly the start and end of his season. Shortly after the Linfield game, Corey suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury that would rule the teenager out for the remainder of the campaign.
Following the expiration of his deal at the Showgrounds, Price returned from injury with local side Ahoghill Thistle in the Ballymena Saturday Morning League for the 2013/2014 season before stepping up to join Championship 2 Wakehurst ahead of the 2014/2015 campaign. He is currently enjoying his third season at the 'Hurst having stayed with the club following their 2016 relegation from the NI Football League.
