English teenager formerly a trainee at West Ham United who Alan Fraser brought in on a month's loan during the 1995/1996 season.
Somerset born Moors began his career at West Ham United's famed academy but failed to break into the first team squad at Upton Park under Harry Redknapp. He was a regular figure in the club's reserve side in his final season (1995/1996).
In November 1995, Redknapp allowed the forward a free transfer to struggling Third Division (fourth tier) side Torquay United. Moors made his debut from the bench in an away defeat to Chester City, that sent the Gulls to the bottom of the football league - were they remained for the rest of the 1995/1996 season.
The Chester defeat was Chris' only first team appearance for the club as in February of that same season he was on the move again - answering the call of Alan Fraser to spend a month on loan with Ballymena United. United's First Division campaign was already all but over, as Coleraine romped to the title that season. 19-year-old Moors enjoyed a healthy return three goals in five appearances during his short stay at the Sky Blues, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win over Carrick Rangers in March 1996 - his last game for the club.
Moors was released by Torquay in the summer of 1996 and signed for hometown club Yeovil Town ahead of the 1996/1997 season. His 6 goals in 33 games helped the Glovers win promotion from the Isthmian League (sixth tier) back to the Conference, he also was part of the Town team that lifted the Somerset Premier Cup that same season.
The next three seasons were spent prominently in the Reserves at Huish Park as Chris only made one further appearance for Yeovil's first team during the 1998/1999 season.
