Match Report
INSTITUTE came from behind to maintain their unbeaten home record with this draw with Ballymena United who still await their first win of the campaign.
Although scoreless at half-time both sides might have went in at the break with their noses in front.
Kevin Kelbie came close to breaking the deadlock for United when Michael Doherty fumbled a corner but the Scottish striker was unable to find a way through the crowded goalmouth while, at the other end, John O'Loughlin had a rasping drive blocked to Alan Blayney.
The visitors moved in front eight minutes into the second half when Neil Teggart dispossessed Declan Divin in the middle of the park to release Kelbie who displayed great composure to take the ball past Doherty and into the empty net.
However, 'Stute levelled with 15 minutes remaining through substitute Calvin Mooney who latched onto a David Ogilby flick to beat Blayney.
But the home side were forced to play the last 12 minutes with ten men following Ruairi McClean's dismissal for retaliation following an incident with United's Aidan Watson.
