Crewe United defeated Ballymena United 3-1 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday afternoon at Crewe Park.
From the start, to the end, it looked like Crewe were the top flight team, bossing the pitch, keeping the ball and creating chances.
It took just 4 minutes for Crewe to grab their first goal, with another coming 20 minutes later. Chances for the Braidmen were few and far between, and even after half time, it was mostly Crewe until they scored their 3rd. United were awarded a penalty, but it was missed, along with two glorious headed chances which went straight over the bar.
The Sky Blues were awarded another penalty, this time Caolan Loughran stepping up and sending it into the back of the net for a late consolation.
It's the same against on Tuesday night as two squads are playing at two different locations. One team will travel to Breda Park to face Knockbreda, and the other make the trip to Wilgar Park to face Dundela.
